Avoid These Mistakes When You Have A Blog
There are many factors that determine a blog to be successful online. I decided to write an article explaining the main mistakes to be avoided at all costs when you have a blog.
1. YOU DON’T CARE ABOUT YOUR BLOG’S DESIGN
Design a blog is extremely important but many bloggers ignore saying that the most important factor is content. Indeed the content is very important because it attracts the visitor but the first thing to be noticed that a user visits a blog is its appearance. If you have many sites sidebar with plenty of widgets or a lot of unnecessary advertising that spreads across the screen will confuse readers and they ultimately will go to other sites with user-friendliness. Try to keep things simple when it comes to design.
2. COPY ARTICLES FROM OTHER BLOGS
One of the ingredients of success, when you are a blogger, is to have original ideas. Copying articles from other blogs won’t bring you any bit of success, on the contrary, will damage your reputation. You should try to produce original and quality content. Each blogger must have his style, which is made up of factors such as how they express themselves or the structure of the text. So when someone reads several articles from your blog, they can tell that they were written by the same person. Instead, what you can do is breathe in news articles. If you don’t have ideas, read other blogs or even comments made in other articles around the web because from there you can extract a multitude of ideas.
3. YOU DON’T HAVE A WELL STATED SCOPE
To achieve the desired goals must first define them. Try to establish some goals such as to leave a certain number of comments with links to other sites/blogs, to distribute a number of articles on social networks etc. Whatever your goals are, you must stay on the path and not let yourself get discouraged.
4. WRITE ARTICLES ABOUT ANYTHING YOU CAN THINK OF
Every blogger has other interests besides blogging and there is nothing wrong with that. But remember that a blog is not a journal of activities so keep it as far away from other subjects than those which are related to the blog.
I want to mention a very important thing that to ensure your online presence growth you absolutely have to begin creating a blog for your website if you have an online business and one other important aspect is once you’ve created such a blog you need to update as often as you can and if your time doesn’t allow that, is indicated to hire someone to take care of this for you.
Not only blog visitors will perceive you as an authority in the field but you will improve your presence in the search engines.
5. GIVING UP
We all expect quick results when we start our business or our blog and immediate we get frustrated and disappointed because those results failed to appear right away but things don’t work this way.
I’ve read about successful bloggers who failed with their firs blogs or even seconds ones, who only achieved fame after hundreds of articles. Yes, there are lucky cases but that’s not a rule and you should remember that.
Have patience, read about other bloggers and their stories, research your subjects you write about and first of all write for you and not for SEO or based on some mean comments.
