President-elect Donald Trump promises to deport over 3 million illegal immigrants

Two months until Donald Trump will officially become the president of the United States and according to his own declaration he’s not intimidated by this fact. More he is willing and eager to work together with the Congress on those exact key points that made people vote for him: ObamaCare, taxes cut and one of the most sensitive problems that fabricate a lot of fear right now, illegal immigrants deportation.

I will stop for a second and focus more on the third point: deportation issue. We all watched the news, on every important news channel stories about people fearing that they will be kicked out of the country, tearful images of families being torn apart but is there a rational fear or it’s just a media exaggeration about Trump’s words.

I have listened to some of his rallies across the country, interviews especially the most recent one on CBS’s “60 Minutes” and didn’t remember him saying deporting ALL the immigrants but just “the people that are criminal and have criminal records, gang members, drug dealers, we have a lot of these people, probably 2 million- it could be even 3 million- we are getting them out of the country or we are going to incarcerate”.

So I’m reading this over and over again and I’m trying to find to find what is wrong with this statement. Is it something wrong with it?

For me, the answer is NO. We live in a world where there are laws, rules for the citizens to follow. Do I think these laws are always right and with the interest of protecting the people? Again, NO. But they do exist and if you break that law you should be responsible for your own action and suffer the consequences.

If an illegal immigrant kills your daughter or your son , don’t you want to see that person punished? Is there any parent that would plea for the release of the killer and wouldn’t want the law to be applied?

I don’t have a doubt that among all those millions of immigrant are hard working people, who want a better life for them and their families, for their children to have a much better future than them and of course with all the compassion and admiration I think that they should be helped to get their citizenship but we all know that the real problem is not them.

I have no idea what are the real plans of Donald Trump, what he actually will do after officially becomes president. I don’t agree with some of his ideas and opinions, with his lifestyle or his persona for that matter but I’m all for second chances and he didn’t even receive the first one.
