Large pores are an unaesthetic problem for many people, especially those with oily or mixed skin. These types of skin are prone to blackheads and pimples, due to impurities that block pores. Therefore, it’s advisable to pay special attention to your skin care by carefully cleansing with products specifically for your skin type. But besides these solutions, you can also resort to natural remedies that have tonic and astringent properties.

Natural remedies for reducing large pores

Rosehip oil

This oil is also known as Rosa Mosquito, being considered an excellent remedy for many skin conditions. It’s used successfully against aging skin because it reduces brown spots and blurs the wrinkles. Also gives excellent results for acne-affected skin, because it works against redness, reduces large pores and regenerates skin cells. Apply a thin layer of oil on the face daily, let it work for 15 minutes, then remove it with cold water.

Honey

Honey is an excellent ingredient for oily skin, because it exfoliates gently, reduces excess sebum and reduces large pores. You can use it both as well as combined with other effective remedies. Apply a honey mask, let it work for 10-15 minutes, then remove it with cold water. In the end, your skin will be clean and velvety.

Mint

Mint refreshes the skin, stimulates blood circulation and reduces the size of the pores. Every evening, after cleansing, apply compresses with a warm mint infusion. You can also prepare a steam bath twice a week to add essential mint oil. After 10 minutes, exfoliate the skin or apply a moisturizing mask.

Yogurt

An effective remedy for large pores is yogurt, as it removes dead cells and excess sebum from the surface of the skin. Before you go out, apply a simple yogurt mask to the affected areas that you will leave for about 10-15 min.

Makeup for skin with large pores

Face cream:  opts for a cream with a soft texture that mattifies the skin and gives it a healthy look. Choose a product with ingredients that regulate sebum secretion and give a dose of freshness to the skin. You can use it as a makeup base for the days when you don’t have time to prepare yourself or do not want to load your skin.

Primer: this cosmetic product moisturizes, softens and smoothes the skin, making the large pores less visible. The makeup base is used after the moisturizing cream and before applying the foundation because it has the role of preparing the skin for makeup. Apply a small amount of primer and let it get into the skin well. If you have oily skin, you do not need to use the face cream before the primer, but this also depends on the skin’s needs.

Corrector: successfully conceals small skin defects: large pores, freckles, black dots, or red spots. For a natural look, apply it with a brush and use it only in areas where it is needed.

Foundation: opt for a lightweight foundation and choose, according to your skin type. Don’t use too many pore camouflage products at the same time because it won’t have the desired result.
