Even after years of learning it in school, grammar is just one of those things people still don’t always get right, myself included.

It’s hard. Especially if English is not your native language. Most certain if you take my posts and read them carefully impossible not to find a grammar mistake because usually, you think that whatever words and phrases you are using that sound fine in your head are also correct.
It’s easy for little grammar mistakes to slip by especially when you’re self-editing. But how do you prevent grammatical errors if you’re not even aware you’re making them?

I recently discovered Grammarly, a grammar checker for proofreading articles, book chapters and blog posts. It’s an amazing tool that I’m using since I started to write on my blog. There are two ways to use Grammarly. You can use it either in your web browser or as a Microsoft Office add-on. The premium version features:

  • 100+ additional advanced grammar and spelling checks
  • Vocabulary enhancement suggestions
  • Genre-specific writing style checks
  • Plagiarism detector that checks more than 8 billion web pages
