Review: Avon Solutions BB Cream
A while ago I was desperately looking for a good bb cream to replace for a while my foundation. I’ve wanted something more light for my skin to use on those days when I didn’t feel like wearing too much makeup and luckily I’ve found Avon Solutions BB Cream.
This cream is supposed to be hypoallergenic and has SPF 15. With it, Avon has introduced in the jujube fruit extracts that are recognized for their contribution to skin care and for improving brightness.
It has only two shades and of course, I have the light version, which because I’m not tanned at all it’s kinda dark.
I’m really frustrated about the fact that some brands simply don’t understand what a pale skin means. Over the years I’ve had a few really good BB creams that I’ve wanted so bad to wear but ended up throwing them before I’ve finished because their light shade was, in fact, a dark orange / yellowish tint.
But moving along from this I can tell you that it blends really well especially with a beauty blender or brush.
On the package, it says that will give you a matte finish but I would surely say that it’s more a semi-dewy look but I don’t mind at all since it gives me a radiant look and even from a distance, looks really beautiful on the skin. It has good coverage, I would say average and feels how it fills your pores.
I’ve been talking about how it looks and feels on the skin but let see how well it does in the resistance department.
To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much because I have very difficult skin, sensitive, mixt and in the summer it’s like hell breaks loose but this BB Cream has a fairly good resistance to transfer, and without any powder, it holds up for 4-5 hours maximum when it’s cold outside and 3 hours tops in the summer.
I know that I should also have tested with powder and I promise as soon as I repurchase it I will definitely give another go this time adding a small amount of powder on top and give you my new impressions.
