With the increase in visuals, only to mention a few like Instagram and Snapchat madness or thousands of Infographics, I don’t think it’s necessary to tell you about the importance of imagery for promoting your brand.

But getting beautiful images isn’t always easy. Most people aren’t photographers and even if they have that eye, it can be very time consuming to style and take photos for your website. This is where professionally styled stock photos come in play.

I really like the site, it has superb photos and what is very important at least for me is that has a search option and also category menu which makes a lot easier and saves me a great amount of time when I look for something specific.

2. Freestocks.org

Freestock offers a wide range of high-quality photos all released under Creative Commons CC0.

Interesting urban shots, rural scenes, small pets, food, and textured shots are included. I don’t think that you will be disappointed by using this site and I already saw a couple of photos that I’ll use for sure in my future posts.

3. Life of Pix

Life of Pix is a resource created by the LEEROY creative agency offering free high-resolution photos with no copyright restrictions. New pictures are added weekly.

It has some great features like creating your own portfolio, personalize your photos, follow your favorite photographers and also has a cool collection of also free videos.

4. Epicantus

Epicantus contains free original photography by Daria. You can use these hi-res photos for your landing pages, blog posts & designs. All photos are released under creative commons CC0.

5. GoodFreePhotos
